We're Half-Way There!

Me and the girls at 20 1/2 weeks. I'm definitely not fitting into my old clothes anymore! I can still say at this point, no stretch marks ( but I think i'll be seeing some eventually).
The three of us at 18 weeks and some of our first maternity clothes.

Above is Mira's profile. I think she looks like me (ha ha).

This is Anya's profile, but they caught her moving so it's a little blurry.

This is a view of the tops of their heads.
Just thought we would share some more updated photos of the family. I'll get some soon with jay in them. We painted the nursery and installed a ceiling fan last weekend. Our colors are very light green with hand painted daisies in white and yellow around the doors and windows and white baby furniture. For all those asking, we did finally register at Target and Toys-R- Us, which was alot of fun but kind of exhausting.
On Memorial Day weekend, Jay and I took our last vaction before the girls are born and went to the St. Louis Zoo and some museums. One of the highlights for me was our hotel location. We stayed on the hill which is considered little italy and had some geat authentic italian food. We had a great time (except a little rain) and can't wait to take the girls next time.

It's A Girl!... And Another Girl!

NOW PRESENTING THE GILMAN GIRLS!!!

Okay, here's the lowdown on the above three pictures. The top picture is BabyA facedown looking at spine. The middle picture is Baby B's girl parts. So, from no on we will stop referring to Baby B as Baby B - she will now be known as Anya. In the bottom picture Anya is facing outward and waving at the camera.
In these three pictures above, the top one is Baby A (now known as Mira) and Anya together. As they grow in utero, this will not be something that we will probably see much more of. The next picture is Mira's girl parts, and the last one is a repeat of the one above. (Sorry.)
Both of our girls had full examinations and are looking perfect so far. Measurements were taken, heartbeats were heard, and everything is where it should be. Full term due date would be October 12, 2008, but the doctor will not let us go past 37 weeks. That puts the due date around the week of September 20th.
So, HOORAY! Nobody suspected girls (we should have with the Roberts and Genereau women track record) but we were (are) pleasantly surprised and cannot wait for the joy they will bring our family.

How Time Flies!

Hello Everyone!

Since we have so much family so far apart, we took Mindy's example and started this blog so everyone can be a part of our experience.

This was actually the beginning of month 3 (week 9) I was a little excited.

Pregnancy has been wonderful so far. I was warned that I may get sicker and puffier than most, but have been pretty pleased and much more comfortable than three other couples we know pregnant with just one.

Not much to show yet, but below Sandra at 16 weeks is the twins' first ultrasound pictures. Our next ultra-sound (May 7th) we find out the sexes! Everyone says boys, so we're excited to see if they're right.
Baby A is on top and Baby B is on the bottom - aren't they cute? Baby A is our little soccer player - "he" is the kicker and is doing backflips at different times of the day. Baby B is the more subdued of the two. If you look closely at B's photo, (she?) is actually looking out at the camera. Pick out the huge round head on the right side of the pic - those two darker spots are eyes. The baby's right hand is in the air waving, too. Pretty cool, huh?
